Milestone Solutions - Pediatric Occupational Therapy In East Cobb
Boutique pediatric occupational therapy specializing in early intervention (ages 0–6), supporting sensory processing, emotional regulation, and fine & Gross Motor development across home, school, and community settings.
Serving East Cobb (30062, 30068, 30066, 30075)
Working with Melissa has been the best choice we’ve made for our son.
We were completely lost as to how to support our son with his sensory processing issues, and we were desperate for tools to help him flourish. Not only has Melissa helped our son become a more confident, capable, and resilient child, but she’s also helped us become more patient and empowered parents in meeting his needs. I can’t recommend her enough to fellow moms.

Understanding Development
Many families seeking pediatric occupational therapy notice their child is bright and capable, yet everyday routines require more effort than expected. Children may work harder to regulate emotions, coordinate movement, manage sensory input, or complete self-help tasks such as dressing, writing, or sustaining attention in classroom settings.
Families often seek thoughtful, discreet, and individualized support that addresses these underlying skills. Pediatric occupational therapy provides clear insight, targeted strategies, and practical guidance that support successful participation across home, school, and community environments.
our daughter has improved by leaps and bounds
“Melissa means so much to our family; our daughter has improved by leaps and bounds because of her expertise. Melissa is someone who is “all in” and truly cares about the details of our situation and our needs. She thinks outside of the box and is a master in her field. We are so thankful we found her."

Individualized treatment – tailored to the child’s and family’s specific needs
insurance
Milestone Solutions is a private-pay pediatric occupational therapy practice. Services are provided on a cash-pay basis, with superbills available upon request. By remaining out of network with insurance providers, care is guided by your child’s needs — not insurance requirements — allowing for individualized, high-quality, and preventative support.
Many families I support are seeking early, proactive care — before concerns become bigger patterns at home or school. This approach allows for thoughtful, discreet, and child-first care that is responsive to development rather than constrained by eligibility thresholds.
How I can help Your Facility
Services for Preschools & Childcare Centers
Milestone Solutions partners with preschools and early childhood programs, working with leadership teams to support teachers and families through developmentally informed consultation and problem-solving.
Rather than focusing on labels or individual diagnoses, this work centers on understanding children’s needs within the context of the classroom and school community — strengthening team confidence, communication, and consistency.
Consultative Support foR Leadership & Teaching Teams
I collaborate with directors and educators to thoughtfully support children who may need additional sensory, regulatory, or motor support in the classroom. This consultative process includes observation, discussion, and practical recommendations that help teams problem-solve challenges and create environments where children can be more successful.
Teacher & Staff Trainings
Customized trainings designed to support educators and staff that feel collaborative, accessible, and immediately applicable.
Parent Education & Workshops
In partnership with schools, I offer parent workshops and educational sessions that help families better understand their child’s development and feel more confident supporting their child at home and in collaboration with the school team.
Sensory Space Design
For schools, organizations, and facilities seeking support beyond direct therapy, I also offer strategic neuro-sensory inclusive design consultation through a separate practice. This work focuses on how physical environments influence regulation, engagement, and participation — informing the planning and design of sensory rooms, therapy spaces, and learning environments.
This consultation is distinct from pediatric occupational therapy services and supports teams in making thoughtful, evidence-informed design decisions.
